Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Inclusion criteria were patients who had a double J ureteral stent inserted after ureteroscopic ureter stone removal for unilateral recurrent ureteral stones.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Exclusion criteria were coexisting noncalculous disease (e.g., malignant obstruction, renal insufficiency, or congenital
- •anomaly of urinary tract), solitary kidney, ureteral stricture, pregnancy, or complicated ureteroscopic ureter stone removal requiring long\-term stent placement (\>7 days). Patients who were taking an alpha\-blocker or anti\-cholinergic agent to treat lower urinary tract symptoms or who were taking analgesics for chronic pain were also excluded to rule out any influence
- •of the drugs on the symptom questionnaire results.
