Inclusion Criteria
1. closed intertrochanteric multifragmentary femoral fracture (AO/OTA classification 31A2)
2. Treatment with CRIF with cephalomedullary nail surgery
3. Age >= 60 years old
4. Low energy mechanism
Exclusion Criteria
1. Multiple injury or concurrent fracture at other site
2. Prior hip surgery
3. Can not walk previous to fracture
4. Incomplete data at 3 months after surgery
