入选标准
- •1. Lid swelling which is clinically diagnosed as chalazion-
- •a) Of at least one month duration
- •b) Size >3 mm
- •c) Not responding to conservative management for a minimum of 2 weeks.
- •A lesion would be categorized clinically as chalazion based on the following diagnostic features: Firm painless swelling in either lid involving the tarsal plate, increasing gradually in size with no symptoms of inflammation.
- •2. Subject able and willing to participate in the study.
排除标准
- •1. Subject on anticoagulant which cannot be discontinued.
- •2. Ocular and periocular infection within 14 days prior to surgery.
- •3. Pregnant and breast feeding women.
- •4. Patient with known allergy to xylocaine or triamcinolone acetonide used in
