Inclusion Criteria

Diagnosed Cases of PCOS(by Rotterdam criteria)-any2/3

a.Hyperandrogenism(clinical or biochemical)

b.oligomenorrhea(menstrual cycle >35 days)/Secondary amenorrhea

c. USG findings-PCO feature on USG i.e. peripherally arranged antral follicle count >12 with thickened stroma in ovaries/Ovarian volume >10cm3 in unilateral/bilateral ovaries.

Exclusion Criteria

a.Patient <16years and >45years

b.Patient showing symptoms other than PCOS

c.Patient having any other disease-causing oligomenorrhea and anovulation excluding PCOS

d.Patients suffering from- adrenal hyperplasia, severe insulin resistance,androgen secreting tumor, thyroid abnormalities, cardiac disease, Cushing syndrome, hyperprolactinemia

e. Pregnant patients

f.Patients with any organic lesions of reproductive tract like TB,CA,cogenital anomalies,

any other pelvic pathologies like fibroids

g.A current or previous use (within 3 months) of OCpills,Glucocorticoids,Antiandrogens,Antidiabetic,Antiobesity drugs or any hormonal therepy.
