- •Patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologist Grade I and II, posted for elective surgery under general anaesthesia
排除标准
- •Patient refusal
- •Patient with known allergy to study drug
- •Patients with history of recent myocardial infarction ( <3 months), uncontolled hypertension, bradycardia, heart blocks, heart failure
- •patients with epilepsy, hepatic failure, psychiatric disease, sepsis or systemic infections, neurological disease
- •patients with major illnesses like bronchial asthma, chronic cough, upper respiratory tract infection 2 weeks prior to surgery
- •patients who had received analgesics or sedatives within previous 24 hours
