Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •All patients on Antiepileptic drugs for a minimum period of 6months
  • •Females Age more than or equal to 20years and premenopausal
  • •Males Age more than or equal to 20years and
  • •below 65years of age
  • •Patients with comorbidities that may not have a major impact on bone health like Hypothyroidism with euthyroid status Hypertension Dyslipidemia Well controlled Diabetes mellitus

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Presence of chronic comorbidities which could affect bone mineral density like Chronic kidney disease Primary hyperparathyroidism Rheumatoid arthritis Uncontrolled Diabetes (HbA1C above 7\) Hyperthyroidism
  • •Intake of drugs like steroids, estrogen, recombinant Parathormone Calcitonin Diuretics Anticoagulants
  • •Pregnant women
