Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All patients on Antiepileptic drugs for a minimum period of 6months
- •Females Age more than or equal to 20years and premenopausal
- •Males Age more than or equal to 20years and
- •below 65years of age
- •Patients with comorbidities that may not have a major impact on bone health like Hypothyroidism with euthyroid status Hypertension Dyslipidemia Well controlled Diabetes mellitus
Exclusion Criteria
- •Presence of chronic comorbidities which could affect bone mineral density like Chronic kidney disease Primary hyperparathyroidism Rheumatoid arthritis Uncontrolled Diabetes (HbA1C above 7\) Hyperthyroidism
- •Intake of drugs like steroids, estrogen, recombinant Parathormone Calcitonin Diuretics Anticoagulants
- •Pregnant women
