It is comparative clinical study.In this study patients with symptoms of amlapitta will be grouped. On group will be treated with Avipattikar choorna and and other one will be Mahatiktaka Ghrita.Efficacy of both drugs in amlapitta will be tested

Inclusion Criteria

1. Patients with classical lakshana’s of Amlapitta.

2. Age 16 -60 years.

3. Either gender.

4.Patients with chronicity less than 5 years.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Age < 16 and > 60 years.

2.Patients with history of illness like Gastric ulcer, Duodenal ulcer, Gastric carcinoma, etc.

3.Patients with history of parinama shoola, annadrava shoola, krimi roga, Arbuda etc.

4. Patients with history of haemetaemesis, melaena and anaemia.
