- •?Displaced Intra articular calcaneal fracture
- •?Patients age < 60 years of age
- •?Bilateral calcaneal fractures are also included under the study
- •?Fracture should be < 3 weeks old
- •?Informed written consent of the patient for the study
排除标准
- •?Patient age > 60 years of age
- •?Cases in which there is sensory/motor loss in bilateral lower limbs like assosciated head injury or paraplegia
- •?Undisplaced fractures ( Saunders type 1 )
- •?Extra articular fractures
- •?Pathological fractures
- •?Open fractures
- •?Presence of peripheral vascular disease
- •?Skin infection
- •?Fractures developing compartment syndrome
