This is a randomized, parallelgroup trial in Department of Shalakyatantra OPD at Government AkhandanandAyurvedic College and hospital Ahmedabad,Gujarat. Dealing with the treatment ofthe disease Shitada(Gingivitis).
Acharya mentions that itshould be treated with the drugs having properties like ShÅthahara, ShÅdhana, Raktasthambhana, and Krimighna etc.The drug mÅ«stÄdiyÅg have all above properties.Therefore in the present study mÅ«stÄdichurna Pratisarana has been selected for clinical trials in group P. mÅ«stÄdiKaval has been selected for clinicaltrials in group K.
METHODS- In group P, mÅ«stÄdi churna will be applied locally on gingiva for Pratisarana with honey
In group K,patient will be asked to withholdsufficient quantity of mÅ«stÄdi kaval in the oral cavity and will be advisedto move the liquid comfortably (Kaval) in the oral cavity.

入选标准
- •Patients presenting with signs and symptoms of shitada(Gingivitis), described as per Ayurvedic and Modern science.
排除标准
- •Patients below 16 years and above 70 years.
- •Patients with pus discharge from gums.
- •Patients with Periodontal pocket.
- •Patients having any systemic diseases, i.e., diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hematological disorders, which causes gingivitis.
- •Patients using any other systemic drugs which may alter the result of the study.
- •Pregnant women.
