Inclusion Criteria

dementia
- agitated behaviour
- permanent inpatient nursing care
- documented indication-related medication

Exclusion Criteria

- short term nursing care / day care
- no prescription of indication-related medicaion
- known allergy against essential oils
- medical condition (process of dying, severe psychological or cognitive impairments)
