Inclusion Criteria

1. Patients of hypertension diagnosed according to JNC-8 guidelines

2. Patient in the age group of 30 to 70 years

3. Patient of either sex.

4. The patients of hypertension taking medication for at least 4 weeks

Exclusion Criteria

1.Patients with pregnancy induced hypertension, lactating mother

2.Patients with co morbid condition like:

3.Thyroid disease

4.Renal failure

5.Chronic liver disease

6.Auto immune diseases

7.Diabetes mellitus

8.Tuberculosis and leprosy

9.On drugs like corticosteroids, OCPââ?¬•s, any chronic therapy

10.Any recent major surgery
