Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\)Patient of either sex belonging to ASA physical status I \& II
- •2\)Patients undergoing burn wound dressing.
- •3\)Area of burn \<30%
- •4\)Ist and IInd degree burn
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\)Patient refusal
- •2\)Anticipated difficult airway
- •3\)IIIrd degree burn
- •4\)Patient having prior history of allergy with any of the drugs used in the study.
- •5\)Patients with recent upper respiratory tract infection/ lower respiratory tract infection, nasal obstruction (mass), epistaxis, nasal congestion, sinusitis, congenital heart disease, mental retardation, or neurobehavioral problems.
- •Patients with extensive burns involving the upper extremities, with no place for the attachment of blood pressure apparatus or pulse oximeter probes, were also excluded.
