1.Patient between the age group of 30-70 years of either sex.
2.Patient suffering from sign and symptoms of sandhigata vata that is Shoola, Shotha, Stambha and Atopa.
3.Morning stiffness lasting 20 minute or less.
4.Patient with radiological finding of knee joint osteoarthritis.
5.Patient fit for janu Basti and Upnaha.
1.Osteoarthritis secondary to other conditions like trauma, fractures etc.
2.Rheumatoid arthritis
3.Gouty arthritis (Vatarakta)
4.Complete loss of articular cartilage
5.Severe bursitis
6.Pregnant women and lactating women
7.critical illness like cardiac disease, carcinoma, tuberculosis, HIV, trauma, neurological disorder
