1 Participants aged 18 years and above.
2 Participant should have one or more of the following :
- >An acute Increase in SCr by > 0.3 mg/dl within 48 hours.
- >Increase in SCr to >1.5 times baseline, which is known or presumed to have occurred within the prior 7 days.
- > Urine volume <0.5 ml/kg/h for 6 hours.
- > All incident patients of high creatinine will be included . (If baseline Cr was not available but creatinine subsequently fell from the maximum creatinine by a factor of 1.5 or more to a value below threshold, these patients were also defined as having AKI).
Patients with proven end-stage renal disease .
Patients on maintenance dialysis (HEMODIALYSIS AND PERITONEAL DIALYSIS) .
When baseline was not available and the patient died before renal recovery.
