Inclusion Criteria: affliction with chronic renal failure with at least 3 months of hemodialysis, the presence of restless leg syndrome, having a normal neurologic and vascular condition, lack of musculo-skeletal disorders, and lack of sensitivity to heat and cold
patients with catabolic processes such as cancer, diabetic neuropathy, unconsciousness, Reynaud syndrome, taking of analgesics, tranquilizers, and narcotics, neuromuscular disorders, weak perfusion, and application of hot or cold compress by the patient at home
