入排标准
入选标准
- •1. Adults aged 40 years or over with symptomatic age-related
- •cataract in both eyes
- •2. Patient or his or her legal representative must be able to
- •provide informed consent
- •3. Patients must live within 30 miles / 50 kilometers of study site,
- •or be within an area Investigator agrees will be possible for
- •4. Patients must be willing and able to comply with the follow-up
排除标准
- •1. Complicated cataracts like secondary to trauma, subluxated
- •cataracts etc
- •2. Cataract with co-existing other ocular co-morbidities like
- •pseudo exfoliation, coexisting glaucoma, corneal pathology,
- •uveitis etc
- •3. Chronically ill patients with serious medical conditions that
- •limits their lifespan or productivity, e.g., cancer, stroke,
- •head or spinal cord injuries, diabetes with chronic renal
- •4. Patient unable to give consent or unable to comply with
- •follow-up requirements
- •5. Patient unable to be positioned for surgery
- •6. Previously identified poor pupil dilation ( <5.0 mm)
