Introduction
Kabaddi is a contact sport so there are chances of various contact injuries to occur in the athletes during competition and training. Stress injuries and calf muscle injuries occur more in Kabaddi athletes. Players get injuries due to wrong technique or overload that may cause overuse injuries, knee injuries, and muscle strain and ligament sprains. Results shows the most commonly occurrence of injuries reported by Kabaddi players were Ankle 56.00%.Hop-stabilization exercises represent a dynamic and fundamental movement in a variety of sports. Training programs that emphasize hop stabilization enhance function and postural control in individuals with FAI. In people with FAI, a combination of peroneus longus DN and proprioceptive training led to pain relief and improved perceived functionality as well as to short-term improvements in postural control outcome. KT can be used in ankle injuries rehabilitation and ankle sprain management by providing support to injured muscles and joints, reducing pain, altering muscle function, improving circulation, enhancing proprioception, and repositioning subluxed joint.
Need for Study
Ankle sprains are the most common injuries in athletes and represent a significant contribution to time lost from sports participation. The wide range in prevalence data is influenced by multiple factors, such as gender and age, which can have FAI. FAI is highly prevalent in athletes, and occurs in up to 28% of athletes with initial ankle sprains. This study is one of its kind Experimental study done in State level Kabaddi players with Chronic ankle instability. Studies related to combination of Dry Needling with Hop Stabilization exercises V/S Kinesio-taping with Hop Stabilization exercises for management of FAI in State Level Kabaddi players specifically have not be done but Dry Needling with Balance training or Kinesio-taping with Hop stabilization exercises separately have been administered in other studies relating to other sport specific injuries. In people with CAI, a combination of peroneus longus with Dry Needling and proprioceptive training led to pain relief and improved perceived functionality as well as to short-term improvements in postural control outcomes. Previous study design did not allow us to conclude that the hopping exercises were better or worse than other intervention programs as comparative effectiveness was not established but with study we would like to conclude current hop-stabilization program is an effective and reasonably sport-specific program that may reduce the lower extremity injury risk in this population.
AIM
To compare the Effect of Dry Needling and K-taping along with Hop Stabilization Exercises on Pain, Dynamic Balance and Agility performance in State Level Kabaddi Players with Functional Ankle Instability
OBJECTIVES
1.To see the effect of Dry Needling with Hop Stabilization exercises in treatment of Functional ankle instability in state level kabaddi players.
2.To see effect of Kinesio-taping with Hop Stabilization exercises in treatment of functional ankle instability in state level kabaddi players.
3.To compare the effect of Dry Needling with Hop Stabilization exercises V/S Kinesio-taping with Hop Stabilization exercises for management of functional ankle instability in state level kabaddi players

- •Both male and female state kabaddi players ranging from age group 15 to 20 years state kabaddi players having primary complaint of ankle pain for more than 6 months state kabaddi players having functional ankle instability that is ankle sprain grade ranging from 1 to 2 since 6 months players having minimum 5 to 6 episodes of recurrent ankle sprain in last one year ankle instability diagnosed by special test like cumberland ankle instabilty tool anterior drawers test y balance test illionis test willing participants.

- •History of ankle fractures history of previous surgery of musculoskeletal structures in any of the lower limbs having received a specific program for prevention or rehabilitation of ankle injuries vestibular disorders pain in other areas at the time of assessment.
