Inclusion Criteria
All children of either sex, aged between 3 to 10 years undergoing following day care surgery under general anaesthesia
1. Non-gastrointestinal lower abdominal
surgery
2. Lower limb orthopaedic surgery
3. Urogenital surgery
Exclusion Criteria
1. ASA physical status 3 and 4
2. Children with history of motion
sickness
3. Difficult airway or airway anomaly
4. Gastrointestinal disorders
5. Known allergy to any of the drugs used
6. Any contraindication to caudal epidural
anaesthesia

Name Time Method The proportion of patients with postoperative nausea and vomiting in early oral feeding and conventional feeding group.Timepoint: At an interval of 0 hr, 1/2 hr, 1 hr, 1 and 1/2 hr, 2 hr, 3 hr, 4 hr and 5 hrs after feeding.
