Relatives of deceased patients are eligible to participate if their deceased family member was i) older than 70 years at the time of trauma, ii) Institutionalized at the time of trauma and iii) had a proximal femoral fracture that was conservatively treated in our hospital between January 2011 and June 2019.
Relatives of deceased patients are excluded from this study if their deceased family member had a periprosthetic fracture, a pathological fracture or underlying metastatic oncological disease. Relatives of deceased patients are also excluded from this study if they are not willing to give written informed consent.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method For the ordinal-level questions we will (descriptively) present the medians and interquartile ranges. The numeric rating scale items will be presented using means and standard deviations. <br><br>Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) for satisfaction regarding quality of life as perceived by relative:<br>The data will be presented as a mean score and standard deviations.<br>All analyses will be performed using SPPS 24.0 (SPSS Inc. Chicago, IL).<br>
