1.Patients in the age group 13 â?? 50 years with calcium oxalate stones in the urinary tract as proven by CT Scan and attending the Urology Out-Patient clinic of Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram
1.Patients less than 13 years of age and more than 50 years of age.
2.Patients with Obstructive uropathy, Chronic urosepsis / Positive urine culture, Renal failure, (S. Creatinine >2.0 mg %) Renal Tubular Acidosis, Primary Hyperoxaluria , Medullary Sponge Kidney.
3.Patients with anatomical abnormalities of the Urinary Tracts
4.Pregnancy
5.Active cancer
6.Recurrent urinary infections
7.Gross hematuria
8.Receiving treatment with thiazides
9.Patients having a serious alternate disease that might affect completion of the study or jeopardize the study.
10.Inability to give informed consent

Name Time Method To compare the maximum Optical Density values obtained in urine samples collected four hours after intake of milk with lemon-tomato fruit juice and four hours after intake of milk without lemon-tomato fruit juice in patients with calcium oxalate stones in the urinary tract attending the Urology out-patient clinic of Government Medical College, Trivandrum.Timepoint: Urine is tested two hours and four hours after milk intake and also two hours and four hours after taking milk along with lemon-tomato juice.

Name Time Method 1.To estimate the Bonn Risk Index of the urine samples <br/ ><br>2.To find the effect of lemon-tomato fruit juice on urine microscopy, urine calcium / creatinine ratio, urine citrate, urine calcium / citrate ratio, urine pH and urine specific gravity <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Urine is tested two hours after milk intake and on the next day urine of the patient is tested two hours after taking milk along with lemon-tomato juice.
