•1.Patients who are in good systemic health diagnosed with generalized chronic periodontitis having probing pocket depth (PPD) of 4-7 mm in age group ranging from 20 to 55 years.
•2.Patients should have minimum 7 teeth in each quadrant.
•3.Patients with at least seven teeth in each quadrants having probing pocket depth of 4-7mm
•4.Patients who can follow the instructions and maintain a good oral hygiene

•1.Patients who have undergone periodontal therapy during the previous 3 months.
•2.Subjects on antibiotics or immunosuppressant medication three months prior to the study.
•3.Chronic Smokers, Alcoholics, Smokeless tobacco users.
•4.Subjects with acute illnesses/acute intraoral lesions.
•5.Pregnant & lactating subjects.
•6.Medically compromised subjects.
•7.Subjects who have undergone extensive restorative dental treatment.
•8.Systemic complication which could interfere with periodontal healing.
