1.Partially edentulous posterior mandible ( premolar to molar area) if single tooth especially molar with class I ridge defects(hvc classification) â?? class â?? I ridge defect -(bucco-lingual loss of tissue with normal ridge height) with subclassification of mild <= 3 mm will be included .
2.Edentulous areas with lekholm and zarb classification of quality 2 and 3 (quality 2- thick layer of compact bone surrounding course of dense trabecular bone ,quality 3- thin layer
of cortical bone surrounding dense trabecular bone with favourable strength )will be included in the study
3.Systemically healthy
4.Good oral hygiene
1.Any previous surgery done at the recipient site
2.Bone defects due to tumor resection
3.Pathologic lesions prior to operation
4.Smoking
5.History of radiotherapy in the head and neck region
