- •The patient population comprises people with statutory health insurance in Berlin with cardiological diseases who are residents of a participating nursing home and who have given written informed consent. The control group is made up of a matched group of people insured by TK who receive standard care and are also residents of nursing homes. The control group is matched using propensity score matching on the basis of pseudonymized TK insurance data.
