Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • LOW RISK GROUP\-Spontaneous on set of labor
  • delivery within 24hrs of onset of labor, cephalic presentation.
  • HIGH RISK GROUP\-induced labor, prolonged labor morethan 24hrs, prom, preterm labor,instrumental labor,aneamia.

Exclusion Criteria

  • pregnant women with PIH and GDM.
  • Pregnant women with already established sepsis.
  • patient undergoing caesarean section.
  • pregnant women other than cephalic presentation.
  • pregnant women with preexisting medical disorders.
  • pregnant women on drugs like metformin, acetaminophen, linezolid, beta2agonists, which cause elevation of serum lactate.
