1.Patients willing to take part in the study.

2.Adult diabetics patients posted for surgery under general anesthesia

3.ASA status 2 patients

4.Patients undergoing low-intermediate risk surgeries

5.Patient age group 18 years and above

Exclusion Criteria

1.Patients undergoing High risk surgery,

2.Emergency surgery

3.Type 1 DM

4.ASA 3,4 patients

5.Morbid obesity (BMI >40)

6.Pregnancy
