Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod

Symptomatic and asymptomatic mumps virus attack rates among fully vaccinated

students through the analysis of specific (IgG) antibody responses prior to,

and in response to mumps virus infection.

Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod

• To estimate a serological correlate for immune protection against symptomatic

mumps virus infection and asymptomatic mumps virus infection among fully

vaccinated students by defining antibody titres necessary to protect against

symptomatic mumps and asymptomatic mumps

• To assess the seroresponse of mumps infection among incompletely vaccinated

students and (if possible) the mumps attack rate in this group.
