- •Age: 13;0 to 25;11 years old at the time of study inclusion
- •Primary diagnoses of inpatient treatment:
- •13;0 to 25;11 years: depressive episodes (F32), recurrent depressive disorders (F33);
- •13;0 to 17;11 additionally: adjustment disorder–prolonged depressive reaction (F43.21); Disorder of social behavior with depressive disorder (F92.0)
- •Owning a smartphone
- •Insured with a health insurance company that enables its insured persons to participate in the study as part of the selective contract
- •Written consent to participate in the study; for underage patients, additional written consent from at least one person with legal guardianship
- •Sufficient knowledge of the German language

- •Other primary diagnoses that are at the forefront of inpatient treatment
- •Schizophrenia, schizotypal or delusional disorder (F20-F29)
- •Acute psychosis
- •Acute danger to self or others
- •Linguistic/neurocognitive barriers
