Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Pain on defecation
  • •2\. Passage of bright streaks of blood along with stool
  • •3\. Onset of the symptoms within 6 weeks.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Chronic Fissure\-in\-ano.
  • •2\. Fissure in ano due to secondary causes such as Crohnâ??s Disease, HIV, Ulcerative Colitis,
  • •3\. Carcinoma of Rectum, Tuberculosis.
  • •4\. Fissure in ano associated with Hemorrhoids, Fistula\-in\-ano.
  • •5\. Uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus.
