Inclusion Criteria
1. Clinical diagnosis of superficial dermatophyte infection of skin and hair confirmed by KOH smear
2.Lesion number has to be two or more if previously untreated
3.Single lesion disease with a past history of poor/ incomplete response to any form of antifungal treatment (topical or oral).
Exclusion Criteria
1.Unwilling patients or parents
2.Serious disease
3.Presence of onychomycosis
4.Contraindication to griseofulvin or fluconazole
5.Liver and kidney functional disorder
