Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Patients willing to participate in the study
  • 2\.Age group between 50\-65 years
  • 3\.Well\-formed residual alveolar ridges
  • 4\.No severe undercuts or bony exostosis
  • 5\.Firm mucosa all over the denture bearing area with no signs of inflammation, ulceration or hyperplasia
  • 6\.Absence of systemic disease
  • 7\.Average quantity and consistency of saliva
  • 8\.Normal TMJ function.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Extremely resorbed alveolar ridges (order V, VI)
  • 2\.High palatal vault
  • 3\.Flabby anterior ridge
  • 4\.Poor neuromuscular control
  • 5\.Oral submucous fibrosis
  • 6\.Neuromuscular disorders (myositis, muscular dystrophy)
