Inclusion Criteria

Patients whose SBP is greater than or equal to 180 mm Hg and/or DBP is greater than or equal to 110 mm Hg without any signs or symptoms of target organ damage.

Exclusion Criteria

1) ACS, 2) acute HF, 3) acute stroke, 4) intra-cerebral hemorrhage, 5) hypertensive encephalopathy, 6) acute aortic dissection, 7) acute kidney injury (AKI), and 8) pregnancy
