Inclusion Criteria

Patient of chronic urticaria presenting in the outpatient department of Dermatology.

Exclusion Criteria

Acute urticaria

2. Angioedema without urticaria

3. Patients of CSU who has taken steroids or immunosuppressive in the last four weeks

4. Urticarial syndromes like Schnitzler's syndrome etc.

5. Other causes of urticarial rashes like lesion associated with systemic lupus,

mastocytosis

6. Urticarial vasculitis

7. Age below 12 years

8. Special groups such as pregnancy.

Primary Outcome Measures

Demographic profile of patients <br/ ><br>2. Clinical profile of the disease including disease duration <br/ ><br>3. Disease severity at presentation measured with UAS7 scores <br/ ><br>4. Autoreactivity determined by ASST positivity <br/ ><br>5. Blood tests including anti-TPO antibodies, ANA (hep 2), IgE, and rheumatoid factor <br/ ><br>to find out possible association with autoimmune disease.Timepoint: 18 months

To find out disease association of CU with other autoimmune or allergic diseases <br/ ><br>4. To find out the presence of physical inducibility in patients of CU <br/ ><br>5. To correlate disease severity (by UAS7 score) and disease duration with the presence <br/ ><br>of signs of autoimmunity (presence of autoantibodies and ASST positivity)Timepoint: 18 months
