Brief Summary

This study is an Observational- cross-sectional study aiming to study the relationship between perceived parenting style, perceived social support, and self-esteem among the undergraduates. The sample size for the study are 250 undergraduate students- 18-21 years and who can read and understand English, with secondary variables being Perceived parenting style, Perceived social support and the site of study is Manipal- India. The primary outcome will be the self-esteem among undergraduates found using Rosenbergs scale of Self-esteem with scores from 0-15 indicating low self-esteem, 15-25 indicating normal self-esteem and above 25 indicating high self-esteem.
