入选标准
- •1) Mental Illness Group: It is targeted at people who have been diagnosed with mental illness. Mental illness is checked through medical records and diagnosis confirmation from medical doctor, and they are recruited from a local mental health welfare center or medical institution.
- •2) Depression and stress group: It targets at people who are experiencing depression or stress for various reasons in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The level of depression is screened through 'Mental Health Selection Tool: Depression (MHS:D)' which is one of the research tools of this study. All study participants will conduct a mental health selection tool: depression (MHS:D) if they wish to participate in the study, and they can participate in the study if they show a score of 8 or higher, which means mild depression.
- •3) Other groups: It targets at families of patients with physical and mental disabilities. In the case of families of patients with physical and mental disabilities, it is checked whether there are currently disabled patients in the family living together.
- •The subjects of the study are adults, aged from a minimum of 18 to a maximum of 90.
排除标准
- •The subjects of the study should have no physical disabilities that may interfere with their participation in the gardening program. A physical disability that may interfere with participation in the study means a person with a physical disability who has been judged to meet the criteria prescribed in the Disability Classification Table for Persons with Disabilities in the Enforcement Rules of the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities Act. Among those with mental illness, those with psychotic symptoms or drug or substance addiction that require hospitalization are also excluded from participation in the study, judging that it is difficult to participate continuously. The severity of psychotic symptoms is first identified through pre-interviews during the screening process, and those who experience psychosis or manic symptoms that are difficult to participate in the study are excluded from the study by referring to the opinions of the center manager (social worker, etc.). When recruited from hospitals or medical centers, participants are recruited only for outpatients who can live their daily lives, excluding inpatients.
