Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Individuals of acne vulgaris having pidika with clinical symptoms.
  • 2\.Uncomplicated cases with classical pictures of Yuvanpidika were selected irrespective of cast, religion and profession.
  • 3\.Patients who are fit for Vamana karma and Lepa.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Patients having pidika other than face and other kshudraroga and kustharoga.
  • 2\.Pidika produced due to side effect of any drug applied earlier.
  • 3\.Patients below 18 yrs and above 40 yrs of age.
  • 4\.Patients in whome vamana karma is contraindicated were not registered.
