Inclusion Criteria
Patients with more than 4 episodes of URTI in a year
Age group between 4 and 18 years
Exclusion Criteria
Acquired and congenital immuno deficiency
Patients who are taking vitamin C tablet for the last one month.
Craniofacial abnormality
Nasal polyposis.
Type 1 Diabetes mellitus
Transplantation and post splenectomy patients.
Mal absorption syndromes.

Name Time Method a)The study gives an understanding of association of one of the preventive host factor, vitamin C with URTI. <br/ ><br>b)If patients with frequent URTI are found to have vitamin C deficiency, the frequency , duration and severity of infection can be reduced by supplementation of vitamin C <br/ ><br>c)The results of the study may be shared with the rest of the scientific community at conferences and also published in scientific journals <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 18 months
