1.American society of anesthesiologists physical status 1 and 2 female patients posted for elective laparoscopic hysterectomy
2.Patients undergoing laparoscopic hysterectomy under general anaesthesia.
3.Aged between 20 and 60 years
4.Valid informed/explained consent
1.Patient refusing to participate in the study.
2.Patient with history of chronic pain.
3.Patient with renal, hepatic or cardiac diseases.
4.Patients on opioids ,MAO inhibitors, benzoodiazipines or steroids. 5.History of alcohol or substance abuse.

Name Time Method To evaluate the efficacy of intraperitoneal instillation of bupivacaine versus intraperitoneal instillation <br/ ><br>of hydrocortisone in patients undergoing Laparoscopic hysterectomy in providing post operative analgesia for shoulder tip pain and abdominal painTimepoint: It will be evaluated at 0 hour, 1 hour, 2 hour, 4 hour, 6 hour and 12th hour postoperatively

Post operative analgesic requirements. 2.Frequency of nausea and vomiting. <br/ ><br>3.Time taken for starting unassisted ambulation. 4.Duration of hospital stay.Timepoint: at 0 hour, 1 hour, 2 hour, 4 hour, 6 hour and 12th hour postpoeratively. Duration of hospital stay is when the patient is discharged from the hospital in number of days
