Inclusion Criteria
Written informed consent; age above 18 years; presence of at least one trigger point within the trapezius muscle; diagnosis of migraine according to the Essener Kopfschmerzfragebogen
Exclusion Criteria
Other neurological diseases (except for migraine); epilepsia; pregnancy; implanted medical devices; other severe diseases

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Improvement of symptoms according to the headache diary of the DMKG (as assessed 90 days before and after rPMS).
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Improvement of the peripheral pressure pain threshold of the neck and shoulder musculature (as measured by algometry prior and subsequent to rPMS) & improvement of symptoms according to the MIDAS questionnaire (as assessed 90 days before and after rPMS).
