Men and women at least 18 years old, tooth-limited gaps and/or free-end situation/shortened row of teeth. The patient has been informed about the regular follow-up appointments and agrees to them.
Systemic diseases that preclude implant surgery (e.g. uncontrolled or very poorly controlled diabetes),
all contraindications for oral surgery,
chemotherapy or radiotherapy,
chronic inflammation,
systemic diseases and metabolic disorders that are associated with bone lesions or bone healing,
the use of medications that influence or interfere with bone remodelling,
intraoral infections,
patients who are unable to perform adequate oral hygiene,
factors which, in the opinion of the examiner, prevent completion of the examination (e.g. unreliability).
