The acute physiology and Chronic health evaluation ( APACHE ) II severity score has shown a good calibration and discriminatory value across a range of diseases processes and remains the most widely used source of prognostic information on the risk for death in patients admitted to intensive care units (ICUs).

入选标准

  • All adult chronic kidney disease patients with or without irrespective of dialysis status in intensive care unit.
  • Patient above 18 years of age admitted to Intensive care unit.

排除标准

  • Patient who underwent renal transplantation or nephrectomy admitted to Intensive care unit.
  • Known case of acute kidney injury patients in Intensive care unit.

结局指标

主要结局

The primary outcome is to assess the association of APACHE II score as a predictor of mortality in critically ill Chronic kidney diseases patients.

时间窗: six months

次要结局

  • To assess the relationship between admission in APACHE II and length of ICU stay in chronic kidney diseases in patient.(To assess the correlation between trend of APACHE II with mortality.)
