1.The patients presenting or history of with classical features of prathama patalgata timira w.s.r. to simple myopia.
2. Patients having simple myopia upto-6D 3.Patients having any one of the asthenopic symptoms like watering of eyes, eye strain, headache, blurring of vision, redness of eyes, burning sensation of eyes, indistinct vision.
1.Dwitiya, Tritiya and Chathurtha patalgata timira.
2.Pathological, congenital myopia, presbyopia.
3.Patients having myopia more than-6D.
4.Refractive errors like Hypermetropia, Astigmatism,other ocular pathologies.
5.Myopia with systemic diseases like T.B.,HTN.,DM
6.Patients who are contraindicated for akshitarpana.
7.Patients who have undergone any refractive surgery
8.Patients more than 30 yrs of age and less than 8yrs of age.
