入选标准

  • Adult (age > 18 years) patients with alopecia areata of the scalp of duration atleast 6 months with symmetrically distributed patches of hair loss on the scalp

排除标准

  • 1.Patients with alopecia areata with asymmetrically distributed patches of hair loss on scalp
  • 2.Patients with a co-existent scalp or hair disorder
  • 3.Patients with thrombocytopenia ( <1 lac/mm3) on baseline haematological evaluation
  • 4.Patients with underlying systemic illness, including autoimmune disorders
  • 5.Pregnant or lactating female patients
  • 6.Patients not consenting to participate in the study
