Patient's ability to consent, confirmed diagnosis of acute aortic pathology (PAU, IMH, type Stanford B aortic dissection, aortic aneurysm) of the thoracic aorta (without involvement of the aortic arch or ascending aorta). The origin of the aortic pathology must be in the area of the thoracic aorta, but can also spread to the abdominal aorta or iliac arteries.
Inadequate anonymization, lack of informed consent from study participants, patients are not able to give consent, traumatic aortic pathology due to accident, data transfer outside the Heidelberg Portal for Medical Data Models (https://medical-data-models.org)

Name Time Method The main criterion is to examine whether genetic mutations in candidate genes or genetic risk variants can be identified in affected patients
