Performing endurance sports (running, cycling, game sports),requiering basic endurance capacity (previously at least 2 units / week)
- stable weight and nutritional behavior (mixed food)
- willing to be matched
- No contraindications to physical activity according to the ACSM guidelines
- no metabolic disorders
- Professional or high-volume endurance sports (> 5 units / week)
- Malignancies in the past 5 years.
- Cardiac disease (e.g. chronic heart disease, arrhythmia, heart valve disease, arthritis, etc.)
- Hypertension according to WHO (RRsyst> 140 mmHg and / or RRdiast> 90 mmHg) at rest
- Presence of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM)
- Presence of a lipid metabolism disorder
- Regular use of medication

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method For the following parameters the changes between baseline and week 12 will be analysed:<br>-Muscle mass and fat mass<br>-Repsirator quotient at rest<br>-Respiratory quotient under exertion<br>-VO2 max<br>-Time till exhaustion<br>-ROS level at rest, after a test meal and after exercise<br>-Distance covered in the time trial<br>-GLQI score
