Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Demand for a consultation by a pain specialist
  • •Demand of a perioperative care for the acute pain service
  • •Informed consent
  • •Patients \= 18 years
  • •remaining in\-patient stay \= 48 h
  • •patients who are legally capable and do have the mental capacity to understand the instructions of the study personnel

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Cancer or palliative patients
  • •No capacity to consent
  • •Refusal to take part in the study
  • •language or communication difficulties
  • •inmates of prison or other institutions
  • •persons who are tied to the sponsor or investigator in a relationship of dependency
