Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Demand for a consultation by a pain specialist
- •Demand of a perioperative care for the acute pain service
- •Informed consent
- •Patients \= 18 years
- •remaining in\-patient stay \= 48 h
- •patients who are legally capable and do have the mental capacity to understand the instructions of the study personnel
Exclusion Criteria
- •Cancer or palliative patients
- •No capacity to consent
- •Refusal to take part in the study
- •language or communication difficulties
- •inmates of prison or other institutions
- •persons who are tied to the sponsor or investigator in a relationship of dependency
