Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •FOR PARENTS:
- •Ã¢â?¬Â¢ Parents have been given the opportunity to handle the baby for at least 1 week
- •Ã¢â?¬Â¢ Can speak Hindi/ English/ Kannada languages
- •FOR INFANTS:
- •Ã¢â?¬Â¢ Preterm: 32 weeks to 36 weeks \+ 6 days gestational age
- •FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS:
- •Ã¢â?¬Â¢ At least 6 months work experience with preterm infants in the NIC
Exclusion Criteria
- •FOR PARENTS:
- •Ã¢â?¬Â¢ Parents who had current twin or multiple pregnancy
- •Ã¢â?¬Â¢ Diagnosed depression, on medications
- •For infants:
- •Ã¢â?¬Â¢ Infants with congenital anomalies/gross neurological damage
- •Ã¢â?¬Â¢ Infants that require sedation or vasoactive drugs
- •Ã¢â?¬Â¢ Infants who have undergone surgery
- •Ã¢â?¬Â¢ Infants receiving palliative care
- •For Health professions:
