Inclusion Criteria
Children who are:
inpatient for three postoperative days
in the age group of two to seven years
undergoing urogenital surgeries(e.g: Uretic reimplantation, Urethroplasty, Pyeloplasty, Orchidectomy etc.)
ï?· Other surgeries ( e.g: appendectomy, herniotomy, ovarian surgeries, pull through procedures, oophorectomy, laparotomy, polypectomy
able to understand and speak Kannada or English
accompanied by the mother
Mother who are:
able to understand and speak Kannada or English
willing to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
Children who are:
undergoing cardiac, head and neck, orthopaedic surgeries.
mentally retarded and physically disabled
posted for emergency surgery
