Inclusion Criteria
adolescents aged 12-18
- written informed consent
-adults aged 18-24
- diagnosis of anorexia nervosa or atypical anrexia nervosa according to DSM-V
- inpatient treatment in one of the participating study centres
Exclusion Criteria
- any other diseases than AN, which influences body weight restoration/weight gain

Name Time Method Primary Outcome: weight (trajectory) 12 months after inpatient treatment
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method In patients with anorexia nervosa, we will assess the following (Admission, discharge, 6 and 12 months follow-up):<br>1) weight and height<br>2) weight before initial weight loss<br>3) age<br>4) menstrual status<br>5) medical stability/instability <br>6) medication<br>7) psychopathology (EDE-Q, Clinical Impairment Questionnaire)<br>8) Comorbidities (MINI Neuropsychiatric Interview)<br>9) Family: Family Assessment Device, Childhood Trauma Questionnaire<br>10) Physical Activity (Compulsive Exercise test)<br><br>In parents of anorexic adolescents, we will assess the following (Admission, discharge, 6 and 12 months follow-up):<br>1) socioeconomic Status<br>2) Family history of Eating disorders <br>3) previous treatments of the child due to an Eating disorder<br>4) Family: Family Assessment Device<br>5) Caregiver Strain (Craegiver Strain Questionnaire)<br>6) Parent Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire
