The study investigates the impact of early mobilization intervention on the morphology and mechanical properties of diaphragm and limbs muscles. The changes in muscle morphology and mechanical properties would then be corrected with quality of life measured at 3 and 6 months post hospital discharge.

- 性别
- All
入选标准
- •Aged 18 to 50 years old;
- •Received at least 48 hours of mechanical ventilation and likely to stay on for further 48 hours.
排除标准
- •Patient receiving palliative care;
- •Patients admitted to intensive care unit for head trauma, spinal cord injuries, multiple fractures and degenerative neurological disease;
- •Patient who had brain or spinal surgery.
