Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •tenderness at the site of the patella tendon.
- •\- pain while performing a single leg decline test in a 25 degree decline board.
- •\- a VISA\-P score of 80 or lower.
- •\- a pressure pain threshold of 30N, through pressure algometry.
- •\- participants wiling to perform in the study and sign the consent form
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- Any previous history of hip surgeries or traumatic hip injuries
- •\- orthopaedic disorders like ligament laxity at the knee joint or any arthritic conditions
- •\- recent history of ankle sprain or ligament/muscle tear
- •\- no history of trauma or inciting event at the knee joint
- •\- no history of neurological conditions
- •\- no use of analgesics or non\-steroidal anti\-inflammatory drugs within 24 hours before algometry test
